American Modern Line

Designed By

Russel Wright, an American industrial designer, designed a dinnerware collection in 1937 called The American Modern Line. Wright's goal was to make inexpensive and well-designed objects accessible to everyone. The line consists of many tableware essentials, including pitchers, bowls, and platters. These objects were designed to be multifunctional; the pieces could go from the over straight to the dinner table.
