Barcelona Chair

Designed By

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, a German-born American architect, designed the Barcelona Chair in 1930. It is one of the most recognizable chairs of the 20th century and is seen as a sign of sophistication and luxury. The design consists of two curved metal bars to form the structure of the backrest and seat combined with tufted leather cushions for the seat and backrest. The chair inspired a line of furniture that consists of an ottoman, bench, and couch.

Our spaces are reflections of who we have been, who we are, and who we are becoming. We believe that the objects we surround ourselves with have meaningful impact on the lives we lead, and it is our mission to empower people to find and experiment with objects that move them, resourcefully, sustainably, and freely.
