Cross Check™ Chair

Designed By

Frank Gehry, an American designer and architect, designed the Cross Check Chair for Knoll in 1990. Gehry is known for the homes and buildings he designed worldwide, including the Walt Disney concert hall. The Cross Check Armchair is an architectural piece inspired by apple crates he used to play with as a child. It is made out of bent laminated plywood, making it lightweight but very sturdy.

Our spaces are reflections of who we have been, who we are, and who we are becoming. We believe that the objects we surround ourselves with have meaningful impact on the lives we lead, and it is our mission to empower people to find and experiment with objects that move them, resourcefully, sustainably, and freely.
