Gio Ponti, an Italian designer and architect, designed a series of Flatware in the 1950’s. Ponti was the artistic director for a porcelain manufacturer in Italy. He was interested in creating everyday products that combined aesthetics with functionality. Some of the objects he has designed include ceramics, sewing machines, espresso machines, cutlery and many more.
