“Hammock Chair”, the PK24™

Designed By

Poul Kjærholm, a Danish cabinet maker and product designer, designed the PK24, also known as the “Hammock Chair,” in 1965. While most Scandinavian designers celebrated wood, Kjærholm primarily worked with steel for the base of his designs. The Hammock chair is made of a steel base, caning, and a leather headrest.

Our spaces are reflections of who we have been, who we are, and who we are becoming. We believe that the objects we surround ourselves with have meaningful impact on the lives we lead, and it is our mission to empower people to find and experiment with objects that move them, resourcefully, sustainably, and freely.
