Plywood Chair

Designed By

Jasper Morrison, an English furniture and product designer, designed the Plywood chair in 1988. Morrison wanted to create a chair that he could make with the equipment he had. Using a jigsaw in his shop, he cut different shapes out of flay plywood to complete the three-dimensional form. The chair consists mainly of plywood, with a few screws to fasten it together.

Our spaces are reflections of who we have been, who we are, and who we are becoming. We believe that the objects we surround ourselves with have meaningful impact on the lives we lead, and it is our mission to empower people to find and experiment with objects that move them, resourcefully, sustainably, and freely.
