Tupperware

Designed By

Earl Tupper, an American businessman and inventor, created Tupperware in 1942. Plastic was a new material in the 1940s, and Tupper used the new material in a line of containers for food storage. What made Tupperware especially innovative at the time is its air-tight lid. The invention was so successful that we often use "Tupperware" to describe any food storage container with an air-tight lid.

Our spaces are reflections of who we have been, who we are, and who we are becoming. We believe that the objects we surround ourselves with have meaningful impact on the lives we lead, and it is our mission to empower people to find and experiment with objects that move them, resourcefully, sustainably, and freely.
